Estate Range Packaging

We were helping Wicks Estate transition their business to attract the younger female drinker. After defining who that person was and what they wanted, we set about redeveloping the brand and packaging with the customer at the centre.

We took the opportunity to modernize the Wicks identity and packaging, introducing a strong signature “W” chevron pattern, a classic typographic language and a sophisticated monochrome colour palette. The new packaging was launched late 2018 to coincide with their sponsorship of the Adelaide Fashion Festival, to immediate acclaim. 

The new Wicks packaging has been embraced by the trade and the brand has seen excellent growth, particularly across Rosé, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc, with the Vintage Sparkling being listed nationally by Dan Murphy’s for the first time.
