Creative and Managing Director Matthew Remphrey was born in Adelaide, Australia in 1970. He completed a Bachelor of Visual Communication, specialising in Illustration, at the University of South Australia in 1991. Prior to forming Parallax Design in 2001, Matthew was Creative Manager at Ian Kidd Design. There, he worked on some of the largest branding projects in South Australia, including BankSA, DairyVale and Business SA.

Matthew’s work has been published and highly awarded both nationally and internationally. Notable awards include two Pinnacles and numerous distinctions from the Australian Graphic Design Association Awards; Gold Chair (Best of Show), Adelaide Advertising and Design Club; Best of Show, Australasian Packaging Awards; Awards of Excellence, Communication Arts.

Matthew currently sits on the Advisory Committee to the South Australian School of Art and Design, University of South Australia. He is a past president of the South Australian chapter of the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) and a past vice president of AGDA’s national council. He is also asked regularly to judge awards programs and give lectures on design and branding to the design and wider business community.

Kellie Campbell-Illingworth

Kellie graduated with a Bachelor in Visual Communication/Graphic Design from the University of South Australia in 2002, achieving Best Graduate awards from both the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) and the Design Institute of Australia (DIA). She joined Parallax in March 2003 where she has been involved in all facets of the design business, handling and assisting corporate identity, packaging and signage projects.

Kellie’s work has been highly awarded, notably a Gold Chair (Best of Show) at the Adelaide Advertising and Design Awards and a judge’s choice award from the Type Directors Club in New York. She was accepted into the 2005 Australian Poster Annual, and short-listed for the John Truscott Design Foundation Travel Award in the same year. Her work has been published in Communication Arts, Australian Creative and Desktop Magazine

In October 2010, Kellie was named as one of the world’s top 50 creatives under the age of 30 by the New York Art Directors Club—the only Australian to be included in the list in 2010. Kellie is currently President of AGDA’s South Australian Chapter.

Kerina graduated as Dux of the Bachelor of Visual Communication/Graphic Design degree from UniSA in 2008. Prior to studying design, Kerina completed an Arts degree, majoring in history, and worked as an editorial designer both here and in London, UK. Her written and visual communication skills make her a valuable member of the Parallax team.
